I'm very happy to report that the first piglet arrived at 2.20 am  ;D All black, a wee gilt - just like her mammy  ;D I had just arrived about 5 minutes before so was there to do all the necessary - I'm soooooo chuffed that I was there and feel as if I helped in some way, but all the credit's got to go to Adelaide.........she's a star !
Unfortunately my own wee piglet decided to wake up looking for a feed, so convieniently daddy had to go and take over piggy birthing duties (had he been nipping Jessica to wake her up I wonder  ::))
Will report back later and get some pics on as soon as possible

Im so enviouse, my attempts this year have so far failed to secure some suitable ground so, my ambitions of piggies was pospond till next year: However this evening a freind has offerd me to rent a small are of his paddock including arces and equipment already on site, so I am a little excited and you have just added to it.  ;D

We ended up with 9 altogether  ;D
I lost track of number of gilts and boars, will go back out later for a proper look (when I've had more than 2 hours sleep !) Adelaide is doing great, really relaxed and contented - the perfect mother  ;D

If anyone is in the area and wants to come up for a cuddle (with the piglets!) you're more than welcome  ;D
Thanks again for all the advice, support and encouragement guys - if I hadn't disscovered TAS I doubt I would have had the courage to ever get to this stage  :-* :-* :-*
