poultry plucker self build question

People that made their own poultry pluckers what motor did you use?

Where did you get your parts? I have found fingers on ebay and I already have a load of barrels but the motor and other bits are harder to find

surely a motor is easy to find on ebay? do you have instructions/plans/guide that recommends power rating?

Looked at making on from an old washing machine, using the same motor. Lots of guide online.

But in the end I just used hot water, large pan on gas bbq, feather came off so easy.
