Hi all sounds like a really basic question but does anyone have a recommendation as to how much (in weight) of ewe nuts we ought to be giving our 4 Ryelands now that they’ve had their lambs (3 sets of twins and 1 single). It’s our first year and up to about 6 weeks before lambing we didn’t really feed them at all other than a handful to keep them tame every few days as generally we have plenty grass and they are good condition keepers. 6 weeks before lambing they had approx 250g each daily (and I can’t remember where that number came from). Now they are out with the lambs. There’s no grass really yet, they have ad lib hay and we are guessing how much in ewe nuts they need to keep them milky. I’d be interested to hear people’s views. By the way we aren’t planning on showing so we don’t need to feed up for that purpose. Thanks
