Some of you might have seen my post 'what am i?'  My neighbour gave me his cockeral as he kept standing outside his window crowing from all hours although he is about 1/4 of a mile up the track from us he was convinced he was crowing to my cockerals not quite sure about that just think he wanted to get rid of him!
Wasnt sure what he was so hence the post 'what am i?'  Cameron suggested he could be a marsh daisy but after some research about how rare they are i dont think he is.
So had another chat with neighbour tonight as i drove up the drive and he told me that the local poultry club thought he was a phoenix pheasant,i have never heard of these and have tryed google but with no luck,do any of you have these or know anything about them.

Thanks

yes they are, but then so are Phoenix pheasant chickens, i had to google them to find out what they were, Marsh Daisys aren't as rare as you think, theyv are listed as endangered on the poultry watchlist, not critical

he has or had the same markings as a shetland cockeral that we had.
but it looks to have white ear markings. he may just be a mix.
