  i spoke to a friend today about ear tags and they know some one that was fined for not having goats & sheep tagged i think it was a £5,000.00 fine and they are now getting regular visits from defra it was their first ever visit so i just goes to show they are not all understanding, if you have been told it is ok with animal health i would ask for that to be put in writing.
