Hi to all from mid Brittany
« on: January 20, 2018, 08:53:31 am »
I have just become a small holder in mid Brittany France by teaming up with a new life partner!

I have been reading many interesting posts on here, thanks to all for the experiences and expertise!

I trying to work out if the members map is working or not, is it me or my computer that may be not seeing it?

My avatar comes from living in middle of bad signal area and as I use mobile for internet, the only place I get decent signal is in the bathroom! My friend found this little guy for me!

In the meantime it's back out in the rain! :raining:

Hello ecognome     I love your avatar in spite of his being a bit trumpish  :innocent:

It would be interesting to hear a bit more about your smallholding.

hi ecognome! the member map doesn't work for me either, but it may be signal problems as I live in an internet not-spot too.

Hello Ecognome from Gascony France, which is about as far from you as Glasgow Scotland. We use a Mifi on the SFR system because we found it far cheaper than an Orange box on the landline. Unlike UK all the mobile systems share each other's transmitters, so it seems to work anywhere.

We have friends in Fouesnant on the South coast. There is at least one other member in Brittany- Petite Gallette (I think that's how it was spelt), although they haven't posted for some time now.
