Clodopper is correct. Rainwater guttering. My predictive text changes it.

I've had several small flocks of stray guest sheep wander onto the property this autumn/winter - nothing left in my veggie patch! I clear out the large greenhouse for the winter and sterilise it ready for the next season so we're out of anything that wasn't in the freezer. 47 stray sheep this winter - makes ya wonder why anyone ever buys sheep - in fact gettign a bit pigged off chasing around to get the owners to take them away. 'Ewby' from one flock managed to get in with our pet sheep into what V calls sanctuary field so the official owner let us keep it. At the moment we have 5 suffolks looking really cute and we've bucket trained they've been here so long - owner's getting an ultimatum that we're keeping those too if not removed soon... but V wants to keep 'Nigella' (and probably Golly, Coonie, Sooty and Bunny too). Jeez, how many pet sheep does one wife need...

Just to finish my off-topic story..
Guy finally turned up to collect his suffolks. Apparently he did come a couple of weeks ago but didn't realise (or ask) where the sheep were and checked my fields - again not knowing I owned another field they were actually in. Folk are a bit strange around here - trying not to be a bother.
Anyhow...V pointed out she'd become fond of Nigella so he gave her a weird sort of grin and let V keep her. Nigella now in with our other pet sheep. She's almost cetainly pregnant too so that's going to be another 1 or 2 additions <sigh>.
He gave an even weirder long-suffering look when V pointed out that the suffolks now expect a handful of treats between 3 and 3.30pm every day.....
