Pleurisy

Took a couple of lambs to slaughter and was told that one had pluerisy. How do sheep get That? Advice please would be greatly appreciated

Is is not pneumonia that has spread to the outer layers of the lungs? Are your lambs vaccinated? This damp and warm weather is ideal conditions for pneumonia.

Having taken landroverroys advice I googled it and found an article which says that one possible cause is drench getting into the lungs. This would explain it as i (rather Collette) had drenched them earlier, but the lamb still had worms......
