Congrats! My 2nd hatch are 2 weeks old now. I usually leave mine in until they're dry

its a corti incubator, like mine!  is it the "50" Terry?

we take them out when they are drying - they go right next to the incy in the brooder, so can still be heard... we found that sometimes the newly hatched chicks roll the other eggs around and make it harder for the other chicks to get out.  the heat lamp goes on when they chipping starts, so it is warmed up, and they start off in a small cage and progress to a bigger one!

 its the 25? 0n loan from my dentist 
i have 22 chicks with 6 more still breaking free lol  so not bad out of 36 from a local bird auction at a cost of £7 50p

26 out of 36  8 clear 4 dead in shell .2 of the 4 had started piping but run out of strength
