Hi, I have a 1 and a half year old peacock that needs a new home - would anyone like him?

Would love him, sadly probably a tad too far.  (Brittany)

We have a 'wild' one around here - bloomin noisy thing!

Is there not a 'stately home' or farm park nearby that would take him?

We had a peahen here for ages but she seems to have moved on, maybe she found a boyfriend?  I hope so as she seemed lonely - she used to sit in my trees and call every night.
Always have been, always will be, a WYSIWYG - black is black, white is white - no grey in my life! But I'm mellowing in my old age

Would love him, but think we are a tad too far away - Central Scotland.  Ah well maybe someone local will have one or a pair looking for a new home...  lol

I really wanted a peacock till I read that they ruin gardens, veg plots, lawns etc etc. Is that all true?

there are some near where I work....  blooming liability!
he jumps out at cars, sits in the road with his tail feathers dragging, makes scary noises when you walk past... terrifying!

For many years there was a pair of peacocks in the next village, they had the run of the quiet country lane, as well as the big mansions garden where they lived.  Then a by pass was built at the bottom of the lane, and the peacock used to sit on the railings on the bridge, looking down at the traffic.  He never fell, but I am sure motorists who were not used to him would look up in horror at him perched on the railings.

They do make a dreadful racket - we could hear those two from here, and its probably a good couple of miles away.

Noise, mess and anti gardening not a problem here.  Anyone coming over to Brittany fancy a peacock sitting on their passenger seat?   :D

:Don't think there will be many takers to ferry your Peacock.  Must say when the one near us spread its tail, it was stunning.......oooh, imagine if it tried doing that on the journey to France?
