Lost EID tag
« on: September 02, 2017, 03:24:52 pm »
Hi could someone please clarify the position re a lost yellow tag as I keep reading the gov uk stuff and find it so confusing! All our small flock of sheep are bought in so not bred by us therefore their tags relate to their breeders numbers. Our Tup has lost his yellow EID tag in the field somewhere. Am I right in thinking that any replacement tag has to be red? What number goes on the replacement tag? Presumably the number on his other tag and not our number? Am I ok ordering an EID tag with someone else's' details on it? Sorry to be so thick! Thanks in advance

2 options .... order exact replica with birth holding details on it   OR  remove other tag and replace with PAIR of red tags with your details on.

Don't wrestle with pigs, they will love it and you will just get all muddy.

Let go of who you are and become who you are meant to be.
