Chicken coop and run size...
« on: August 06, 2017, 03:37:27 pm »
Hi all
I am planning to keep three hybrid hens in this coop and run. The advert states good for up to four- does it look okay for three? The run floor space = 6ft x 2ft.
Thank you!

Looks fine for 3. You letting them out or letting them stay in thee all the time.  :chook:

Yes it looks fine for 3, provided you let them out most of the time so they're only shut in there part time for safety reasons, or you move it regularly to fresh ground.
If you intend to keep them there 24/7 and without moving the run you will find the ground soon gets sour and you will be at risk of infection building up.
