I have a sheep that had maggots a month ago, we treated her and put a disinfectant spray on the wound, we recently put her outside but the birds have pecked the wound and now she is paralysed in her back legs. Shes eating and drinking well and shes alert and tries to get away but cant move her back legs. I help her to stand but her back legs just collapse straight away.

I am going to try to massage the legs a bit and keep helping her to stand. Any ideas on how best to treat her.

No she wasn't treated with crovect.  Just a anti bacterial spray which we use to treat all sheep with flystrike.

Yes, worth a try.  We had a lamb off his legs, thought we should PTS, took him to vet.  Spinal access, steroid injection - it took a while, but he did come right.

If your particularly fond of her then vet, there may be 'something' he could do for her, but my gut instinct is that you could spend a lot of money on her and still have to PTS. I'd call fallen stock and get them to take her.. Sheep are prey animals and the feeling of being stuck must be torture for her

Spinal abscess gets my vote.  I'd consult your vet as, if this is the case, prompt treatment may help.
