Hello from me
« on: August 09, 2008, 05:48:15 pm »
Hi all,

I'm Diane, I live on a small farm in South Yorkshire, we grow our own veg and keep a few poultry and I have recently started my own business doing commission handspinning/knitting/crochet etc also spinning demonstrations and tuition.

My family and I have just done two days demonstrating spinning at the Bakewell Show working with the Sheep Show, we made a 30ft scarf from one of their fleeces.

Rosemary has a lot of fleeces - perhaps you could do a deal?
Always have been, always will be, a WYSIWYG - black is black, white is white - no grey in my life! But I'm mellowing in my old age

Hi, Diane

Welcome to TAS.

I have three lovely Ryeland fleeces that are homeless - I'll email you seperately, if that's OK

hello. I spoke to you at the show. I'm from Macclesfield - just learning to spin. I told you about my ryeland sheep and we also discussed shearing them. Welcome to the site.  :sheep:

Thanks for the welcome Chicken Lady, I was the one on the big spinning wheel. I think you spoke to my dad or brother.

Good luck with the spinning, it's addictive! Which is our excuse for owning over 30 spinning wheels between the five of us. If you even need any help let me know as I'm in the Macclesfield area a lot just lately.

Diane
