infestation on tree
« on: July 04, 2010, 05:32:44 pm »
I have a tree called a populus candicans aurora (just spent ages on google trying to find out the name of it!  ;)).

It is a type of poplar with variegated cream, pink and green leaves. It was planted 2 years ago and is about 2.5m tall.

I noticed it wasn't looking very happy and some of the leaves were dead and brown and curling. Inspection revealed it is crawling with wee black beetly bug things! Yuk!  :o :o >:( >:(
What can this be and what can I do about it ?  ??? ???  Any advice would be appreciated
