Would you start again?

So....
The sheep got into my veg patch yesterday. Don't ask how.

Actually, got away with surprisingly little damage, but what they have done is had a wonderful time dancing in my two large raised beds that I had lovingly down with neat rows of root veg at the weekend.

What do I do? I imagine the seeds are all over the place.

Scrape off the top layer and re-sow? I have enough seeds, but have run out of homemade compost so will have to buy some and budget is tight.

I wondered if I should just leave them and see what comes up, but is that likely to be a disaster? I expect so...

sow some in a seed tray now and transplant in any gaps that become apparent. if you sow under heat they will germinate slightly faster than the outside ones

Resow into marked rows then weed out the inappropriate stuff as it comes up.
