Mending knitting
« on: January 10, 2017, 04:19:43 pm »
I'm feeling very pleased with myself

I've had a big hole in the elbow of my favourite sloppy, hand spun, hand dyed, hand knitted jumper for quite a while now.  Today I at last got around to knitting an integral patch over it.  Just the grafting to do at the end.  It looks pretty good for a first time, though I say so myself.  Just one little unwanted bump where I got a bit lost  :knit:  The repair is not totally invisible but so much better than darning  8)   Can you feel the smugness exuding from me ?  ::)

Nice - can we see pics of your sloppy joe? I'm always after ideas.

Yes please.  And the visible mend, too, please :eyelashes:

For some reason not known even to me, I put the pics in my 'storage' thread  :dunce:   Ah well, I thought I was doing so well posting pics at all  ::)

Can't you retrieve them?

Just realised what you meant. I'll nip over to that thread and inspect.
