James Bond help needed?!!
« on: June 11, 2010, 01:49:24 am »
I'm going to a fancy dress party next month and the theme is James bond. >:(

I can honestly say I have never watched a James Bond film in my life and need some ideas asap!! ???

Googling hasn't seemed to get me anywhere so far so I'm hoping someone might be able to help? I was kind of hooing I could utilise one of my many ball gowns but they don't seem to be appropriate according to the info I have found so far!

Any help appreciated please!! ;D

in true James bond style just your underwear   ;) and a Walter PPK in the top of your stockings  :o , whilst sat a bar drinking a Vodka Martini (shaken not stirred) oh and dont forget to be driving a ferrari or some other uber-deisrable car. then when Meeester Bond turns up i think its a bottle of '67 Bollinger being the drink of choice though.

You could dress up like Shirley Bassey and learn to sing ;D ;D ;D
Always have been, always will be, a WYSIWYG - black is black, white is white - no grey in my life! But I'm mellowing in my old age

What about a black body stocking and black wig and face like the cameo as the titles go past, and of course the gun!!!! I would look like the Dawn French and Jennifer Sanders joke version!!! 8)

Ah you see Sandy ... the problem is, is that a drunken, semi naked, size 16, gold painted dancing machine probably doesn't make for very attractive viewing!!

Someone has suggested vesper to me and copying her trademark necklace ... I'm off to do some more googling to try and get this sorted!! >:(

Ah but a size 16 usually has a great bust line.  ;)

So wear a ball gown with a low decollage and a garter in which you tuck a gun, very 007  ;D

Right I have done my research and I think I am aiming for "solitaire" apaprantly some kind of tarot card reader who favoured long floaty dresses and lots of gold costume jewellery ... perfect and already in my wardrobe (I'm so very good at economising!) therefore meaning I could probably get away with some new shoes!! ;) :D

PS ... Wizard ... my things arrived today! Thank you very very much! They're in my car as I'm on a night shift but I'll get them sorted in the morning first thing! ;D ;D
