Hi
I have read about  flubenvet as a wormer and it looks like it is a popular brand.  Is it best to use a wormer mixed with food or water? How complex is it to use and where is best to buy?

I mix Flubenvet with the food, just dampen the food a little so it holds to the food. Very simple to use just follow instructions for amounts. You can buy it over the internet, vets or licenced Agricultural Merchants.

You can buy flubenvet off the internet. I think its 1/4 teaspoon per kilo of feed. Its a fine powder, I usually weigh the feed into a bucket mix in some veg oil then mix in the powder, it sticks to the oil so you get it evenly distributed! You then use that feed for 7 days, do twice yearly.

You receive a blue measure spoon inside the pack

It's 6g of product (1 level measure) to 2kg of feed for poultry

Simple to use, even i can't get it wrong   ::)

The first one I ever bought had a blue measure but none since :(. The different sizes of Flubenvet are different strengths but just follow instructions on the tub.

the amout is tiny for 2% if there was a 6% it would be very hard to mesure.

Why no comment suppliesforsmallholders?

Hi,

Well last time I offered an opinion on this subject, here : http://www.accidentalsmallholder.net/forum/index.php/topic,7645.0.html quoting an outside source of information, I received some rather nasty responses. So I will stay off the subject and leave it to the experts

Thanks

i was not having a go at you. i was challenging your view of an approved safe vet med. i ask you to show us the safty testing of your new wormer. and its effectiveness testing against standard wormers. i ask again why are you trying to scare folks away from an affective wormer.
you site is great and i have nowt against you. i am not an expert never claimed to be.
