Hi everyone
« on: May 19, 2010, 08:55:33 am »
Hi, I'm Simon, I'm a smallholder and writer on Exmoor with 20 acres of land and a keen interest in self sufficiency.  I kind of stumbled upon this forum by way of the blog and it seems really nice.  Looking forward to making a few new friends and swapping some ideas.

What do you keep / grow on your 20 acres?  Lovely area.

Um, about 45 pigs, half a dozen sheep, 50ish chickens, ducks, geese, horses, a one eyed collie dog called Dex, a couple of feral cats and just about to get a couple of goats.  I think that's it.  Also grow as much of our own fruit and veg as possible.  Lots to keep me busy :)
