How can someone leave a 7 week old puppy, in a box dumped at the side of a road       
What's the point when there are hundreds of police stations/kennels who would never turn away a dog, you can even phone the SSPCA and they collect the dog.

Some people make me sick, it just goes to show how much of a cowardly society we live in      

 lucky for the Pup it was alive and not a pancake, and is now living in it's new home

I don't know either, Cameron!  It sickens me!  My friends next door have a policeman son who called his Mum last Boxing day to say could he take a pup home as it was too young to go in the dog pound.  It was found running around Tullibody, no collar and obviously stressed and completely lost.  The vets reckoned it was about 5 weeks old, but despite the police trying hard to find where it came from no owner was found - so she never left next door!  There was a litter of pups found round here a few months ago as well, beside Dollar I think.  Don't think tehy survived, not all of them anyway.  It's disgusting, I'd string them up.

I heard a story of people who got a puppy from a rehoming centre and dumped it a few days later because it pee'd on the floor - what kind of people think this is okay

You have a good right to rant about this.  It really boils my blood.  Yesterday I heard a really disturbing story that someone in my area is breeding German Shepherds for their skins.  Beggers belief.  Apparently the SSPCA are aware but can't do anything.  Again that seems unbelievable.

One of the worst videos was from china and the dogs were in cadges being thrown around!! I just had to watch but it was horrid, no respect for life at all!!

  everything even animals are seen as disposable now Its far to easy to look in a paper, go to a puppy farm the same day and pick up a pup andit doesnt work out no one has any records of that person having the pup and they can just dump it like an unwanted and go buy a new one somewhere else its madness!!

People are selfish and only know what they are brought up to know! If they are nurtured in a life with little respect for them, how are they going to value any thing, et alone any animal?
