Howdy from High Wycombe
« on: May 12, 2010, 09:30:01 am »
Hi everyone! Stumbled across this forum yesterday  :o it's brilliant! Everyones so friendly with lots of great info to give. Currently living in Wycombe with my folkes and my boyfriend 30ish miles away up in Dunstable. We're trying to pry money from the banks fingers at the mo to start an Alpaca farm/business in Cambridgeshire/essex. We have three beautiful females Bella, Vittoria and Highland Rose and Bellas son Blade at this moment in two seperate farms (HR is due to give birth at the end of June so not long to go now) I've also got my smashing GWP Kia and we recently rescued a cat who we've named Goku. We want to find about ten acres and turn it into our paradise :farmer: with Alpacas, pigs :pig:, chickens, geese, an orchard, veggies and be as self sufficient as possible. We've all got to dream!!

I and welcome from the Scottish Borders, hope your dreams come true, mine did it just took a very long time but I never gave up. I second Sandy love to see photos especially baby ones, 2 or 4 legged ones!

Hello from me in South Lanarkshire
To post a picture, click on additional options when you are writting a reply (below the white box) and you get the option to attach an image. You'll probably need to resize it on your photo editing programme first, there's a maximum size that it's able to take. Failing that if you've got a flickr or photobucket account or anything like that just add a link to it by clicking on the globe icon above the text box and entering the address between the brackets.
Hope that makes sense (I don't usually  ;))
Look forward to seeing your pics and hearing how you get on  ;D

Just had a look at your photos, they are gorgeous. Do you spin and knit with the wool yourself or do you sell it on?
