Langdon Can you imagine 50 000 ducklings in one hatch.Do you know what a 2 ton Ferguson trailer is .If you do the egg shells from the hatch fills the trailer level full ;D :farmer:
Don't do today what can be put off until tomorrow because today will be yesterday tomorrow

Why don't you think they will all hatch?  Be positive :D

I have broody bantams sitting on eggs all over the place - not exactly sure who is next to hatch....will wait for the cheeping.

Are you keeping or selling the chicks?  What breed are they going to be?

Ha Ha, lots of questions for you this time!!

100% would be rare. 80-90 would be very good. but any is a positive. i never expect any to hatch. but they do.

I was extremely dubious about any of ours hatching as I was having real trouble with humidity at the beginning! Anyway, out of 16 eggs, 11 were fertile. Out of those 11 we got 9 - 82% :o

I was hoping for 6! ;D
