Newbie in France

Hello
We are Chris and Helen and we live in France in the Limousin with our 2 children. We moved here 4 years ago and started with a few chickens and now somehow have 3 ewes, a ram and 2 pigs. We rear 2 pigs every year for the freezer and if we're lucky a lamb or 2. We've always dropped in on this excellent forum for answers and have just posted about a possible phantoming ewe, though sadly after some kind replies it seems she's slipped the lamb  :'(
Hopefully we may even be able to help someone else out with a problem.
We definately seem to be a novelty in the village, it seems it's only the english who arrive and suddenly have a desire to keep pigs! We certainly seem to have more success with pigs than sheep at the moment. ???
Looking forward to being a member of the comunity...
Helen and Chris
