just caught up a ewe with fly strike on her tail.  Shearing on Friday and hadn't treated them as it has been so cool down here in the south.  I sell some of my fleeces and buyers prefer them not to be treated.  First year I haven't crovected in the spring and I have been caught out.  Cut away as much as I could and drowned it in diluted jeyes fluid.  Hopefully that will slow the critters down until the morning when I can pick up some crovect.  Just a warning to TAS flock owners in the south!!

I would ditch that fleece for spinning. The welfare comes first as I'm sure you agree, so any with a hint of strike would be Crovected here.

All been treated this morning, sorry spinners but my sheep are more important than your wooly jumper!! Ewe from last night now has very dead maggots and is clean and tidy!
