Traditional (Original Population) Hereford yearling bull

This young bull, born 5/5/15, is by a Rare Breeds Survival Trust AI bull Gwastad Fergus, out of our best cow. He is dehorned, registered with the Hereford Cattle Society and DNA tested. He is extremely well grown, weighing 258kgs at 180 days with no creep feed, and has excellent conformation and a lovely temperament.
His dam is 11 years old and expecting her 8th calf. She is a fantastic milker and has excellent feet and legs. A previous calf was a second prize winner at the Welsh Winter Fair. We would like to keep this youngster to use ourselves but we have two of her daughters already in our small herd.
We may also have heifers for sale this year.
SAC PCHS members, accredited for BVD and Lepto. Dam IBR and Johnes negative, Herd TB clear (Feb 16)
We believe we are the only Traditional Hereford breeders in Scotland (South Ayrshire).
