Utility Buff Orpingtons!!
« on: April 17, 2016, 02:33:17 pm »
Is there any good strains of Utility Buff Orpingtons out there ?

I'm looking for a tighter feather type (more chicken shaped) which is a good layer and matures quite well for the table.

Any ideas ?

Without wishing to be rude what you are asking for then would not be an Orpington - other than the eggs - as they actually lay quite well  - If you Google buff Plymouth rock that's kinda what your describing

Maybe you're right but I'm struggling to find any Buff Plymouth Rocks even the breed society cannot help and all roads seem to be leading back to Buff Orpingtons ha.

Think there's eggs on eBay / if you don't fancy eggs contact vendor to see if they have adult stock - either that or.buy some orps and glue their feathers down :roflanim:
