And so we begin....

After having two scanned as early, we seemingly have started lambing proper!


The twin early has got a fab set for bouncing babies, and since yester day morning we ve had  three more sets of twins. The single early is crossing her legs me thinks.   Few more bagged up,here we go  :thumbsup:

When I get my act together I will, another set twins born last nightm and it looks like Ms Soon has uncrossed her legs, and I'm just about to go back up and do waters and see how she is, n bed her down, she s the first Destiny single,   Off I go, I got one more check after that then its Bazs shift, yay schleeep. X

"Soon" had a a cracking ram lamb, unfortunately, when I did my check on her, another ewe had lambed a beautiful still born girl  I tried to get her going , but to no avail.  This morning a sweet little set of twins.  Plus the singles we still keeping up top threw two lambs, Baz has put them away.


Des is a rather laid back tup and didnt rush, so I think we ll have a trickle for another week or two, then a big run as Sweep and another ram lamb were then  in to mop up for him.

I d been out getting fags n ptprotein licks from neighbour,and come home and typed, thought he was settling them in, turned out that they were still out, went up, caught lamb, he d done the other one and failed to load batty but good mum,thought we d try the other first, caught lamb, great, but yet again loony mum, wasn't having any of it. So we sprayed healthy chunky lamb and let them be, well get them tomorrow!! Good mums that's the main thing eh,


Baz ain't stopped since four this morn, so now getting some zeds, n I go back out in a bit to check n do a few things, finish twelve. Got my eye on a quarter pot of Mackies honeycomb ice cream to retire with lol

Set of twins yesterday morning and another single to add to the ones we could nt catch (we have now, pootledthem down to barn yesterday aft) plus another set of twins yesterday morn and one more single this morn.   Lots of cuddles going on  :love:

I have 3 due to lamb this month and about 60 or so next month, plus calving mingled in between it all. Busy days and nights ahead! :tired: :roflanim:

Two more singles, lovely strong lambs.


Doing two top ups, no mollies as yet. 


Touch wood and sugar buckets, no twin lamb rearing it's head.  Plenty of licks about, n they all in with yard by night so very little energy exerted.  Protein/energy discs in with them and lifeline, plus they have a ewe nut breakfast out front n big bale in they're digs.

We ve gone just to energy now, and we ve got corn bucket going in.  They re having protein in the morning so we decided that energyfine for the evening, some of them are right piggies.   


No new lambs, but saying that I'm out in half hour so may be greeted by some, I hope so, day three of lull today... New moon soon, maybe that will help  :thinking:


Or a curry?
