Weaners wanted in Scotland
« on: February 15, 2016, 04:38:52 pm »
Hello all,

I am after 4 weaners. 2 of 2 different breeds pref. (would love a couple of Mangalitsa and a couple of GOS but that's being fussy!)
I am in the Highlands of Scotland but have a horsebox and can travel.

Cheers,

Gregoz

We have had a litter of kune kune born today just outside Banff, Aberdeenshire.
They will be birth notified and could be registered, but wouldn't have to be if you were just after meat weaners.
They make excellent sweet pork from around 10-12 months old, and as they tend to graze, use less feed to get to slaughter weight.
If you would like to view, with no obligation, drop us a message.

Weaners are like hens teeth in the highlands.  Depending on where you are you might have to travel 100+miles!

There is a breeder called Gary Imlach in Caithness who sells a lot of weaners, I don't know of anyone else (but there must be somewhere).

There are a couple of OSB breeders up that neck of the woods - try searching the BPA stock for sale page or ask the OSB Breed club
