Soay x Hebridean in lamb ewes for sale, Aberdeenshire
« on: January 19, 2016, 08:16:42 pm »
5 Soay x Hebridean ewes for sale.
Mixed ages, youngest is a ewe hogg (born April 2015), well grown so put to tup as well, none aged, all good in mouth, udder, feet.
Have been running with Hebridean ram to lamb end of April/May.
Easy care sheep, self shedding so don't need shorn, just some help to remove any stubborn fleece by hand.
Lovely soft fleeces for hand spinning or other crafts.
Lamb easily, usually with no assistance.
Grow well on little feed.
Tame ewes, come to a bucket.
Could potentially make a (Hebridean) ram available for complete starter flock if desired.
Lovely sheep, only selling as downsizing and made the difficult decision to focus on our pure Hebrideans.
Any questions just drop me a pm.
Thanks for reading.

Scanned in lamb yesterday, two twins, two singles and the ewe lamb has definitely one, maybe twins.
Will be selling through Dingwall Rare Breeds Sale on the 5th March if interested parties we are in discussion with, or new interested parties have not confirmed intent.
