I've got a whole load of new breeds next year and 3 of them I have one cockerel and 2 hens. I have considered putting in some of my excess welsummers in with them as I will know which eggs are the pure ones. Is one boy to 2 girls just too much on a long term basis?

You may need to fit a saddle to the favourite Stereo. There will always be a favourite, regardless of how many hens you have in our experience.
