Sheep Inventory
« on: December 07, 2015, 11:34:42 pm »
I've not had the printed form and email for this year's inventory.  I've obviously done the count and popped details in the holding register as usual but if anyone's got the relevant link or email address please, that would be handy.

Thanks.

anybody knows if this does this work for holdings in Wales?
it doesn't seem to want to accept my CPH login.
haven't had the survey papers in the post yet either.

You have to enter the holding number without the slashes, and the postcode with no spaces.  Just in case that's the problem - I didn't get logged in at first this year, because I'd forgotten that and didn't read the help  ::)

Don't the welsh ones get sent out nearer Christmas for a new year count.

I've just spotted this thread and am wondering if I need to do something? I have 4 pet sheep as mowers. Do I have to fill in a form once a year and send it off somewhere or does someone official send me a form to fill in? Or is this only for people who's sheep move on and off premises /lamb etc.? The girls are misted in my holding register but nothing has changed in the past year. Thankyou for your help.

They normally send it in the post, and if they have your email address from ARAMS then they may email too.  I'd not had it so hence my enquiry.  AFAIK it's required by everyone who has stock, as it's a census.  Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland might have different arrangements.

There's a greater chance of inspection if you don't submit.

For some reason they seem to forget sending me the form every other year - I've had to call them up for a form in January twice before. So I thought getting ahead online would be a good idea and easier too.
I have definitely entered the details as per the instructions so maybe it works only for England. Or maybe I have to call them to find out  ::)

Ours came by email this morning. And I think it generally arrives on the 10th of December.
