The accidental calf

I was incredibly surprised today to walk out and find a calf!!! We thought our old 16yo Gunna was just really fat - although my mother Lucy had her suspicions. Turns out she was right and we were all wrong! Clever old Gunna gave birth to a little heifer so we are just thrilled.





We are thinking of calling her Moon as she was born last night during the full moon.

She is having a great time running around the field after Una and Xena our other heifers at the moment.

Lovely calf - well done to Gunna.

Luna might work as a name - links the moon and Gunna (well almost...)

Looks like you'l be spoilt for choice with all these name suggestions, I wouldn't know which one to choose!
