I found this when looking into making pot bellied stoves out of old gas bottles (they run a course on it - and lots of other things !) They have lots of fact sheets packed full of info and ideas for low-impact living.

Nice site, I shall take a better look soon...Do you remember a money programme when a couple were in financial trouble so they let out most of thier house for the summer and the man made stoves out of ???forgot, but he was inundated with requests for them, they were truley lovely..maybe pot bellied ones???
