Hi I am in Fife, A bit more information 2 of the ewes are 2008 born, the other 2 are 2009 born and the ram is 2009 born. I bought the 2009s at Carlisle rare breeds sale last year and I bought the 2008s at Stirling rare breeds sale also last year. These sheep are not what I thought they would be ,that is the reason I am selling.

Hi, bigchicken

I've PM'd you. Are the 2008 ewes lambing this year?

I'd be interested in viewing.

Had lambs but failed to mother them properly, not a patch on Shetlands. Slow, stupid and cant see where they are going they annoy me just not my type of sheep.

weve found ryelands to be excellent mothers generally, they do require dagging occasionally around eyes due to excess wool so they can see whats going on, think you can have an occasional bad mother in any breed...................neil ::)

Yeah, mine are pretty good mums. I do have to trim the wool from their eyes though or they can't see properly. I love them - they're like teddybears.
