Scottish Smallholder and Grower Festival 2015
« on: September 24, 2015, 09:37:05 am »
is this Saturday 26th September at Lanark Agricultural Centre

Do come if you can. It's organised by a(very) small group of smallholders who do this on a voluntary unpaid basis and it needs smallholder support.

There will be a few TASers there - HappyHippy, bigchicken, Andrew, Fleecewife, Tiva Diva, Carse Goodlifers, oor wullie (the latter two are doing talks in the seminar programme) and many more.

It's a good day out for smallholders - if you have a TAS Tshirt or badge, stick it in and see who you pick up  ;D

Hope to see you there.

Hope you all have a great time - once again, as a Committee member oft eh Brittany Club, I am attending our Annual 'Le Weekend' in Lincoln.

Can't see it changing for the foreseeable future either  :huff:

Yes I'll be there, and I'm hoping to be able to look around all the things in addition to the animals.  So many folk have wanted to talk about our sheep at past shows that we haven't had enough time to see all the stalls, or go to any of the presentations.  I'm really looking forward to it.
My TAS hoodie no longer fits (I've grown rather than it shrinking) so I'll dig out a badge.

Even Rosemary might not have known this but Highlandrose will also be doing the seminar with me.

Looking forward to meeting people there.

I don't have a Tshirt,or a badge  :(
I'll look out my sandwich boards and wear them instead  ;D

Eek  :o  Help  :o

I've just discovered there are no forms/numbers for my egg and fleece entries in with my tickets.  I definitely entered 2 lots of eggs and a fleece.  Does everyone else have those forms to accompany their entries?
Is there somewhere I could pick up some extras when I arrive?  I wonder why I didn't check when the tickets came  ::)

Thank you Karen.  That was good to know

How did the pigs do?  :pig:

I'm home already as I'm tired out.   Loved the horses - and everything else too of course    I don't envy those of you with long miles to travel after such a long day.

I never thought to bring a bucket and I don't have a TAS badge.  It is a but late now but I was doing the "starting from scratch" seminar.

Despite a little nerves we had a great day out.
