same here. out of 31. 19 home layed 9 out 10 silver dorkings hatched. 2 cream legbars out of 9 both very young so i was not expecting  good results. 2 out of 12 copper marans from ebay. i got them cheaper than what the sellor was wanting so i should not have been surprised that most candled clear.

I'd remove now if  they are a showing clear when candled. They're not going to hatch and if you're unlucky as I was last year they might pop/explode. The smell was awful and took ages to clean up.

Hey, Jock!  Lucky is still here, lodging with the ducks now, and not laying a damned thing - not for weeks!  But she's the friendliest chook I've got now!
Always have been, always will be, a WYSIWYG - black is black, white is white - no grey in my life! But I'm mellowing in my old age

Hi anne

she always was realy friendly, till 2 pac died (the chook) and then she turned dirty guts and attacked everything, good to here she is doing well,i am having to get rid of most of my chooks as you know how liz was really not well which has been gooing on for over a year well youve guessed already she is alergict to the choocks so im gonna fence in and keep 6 and see how we get on.
I always wanted welsummers so out of the chicks i hatch next week i will keep  till i know what sex they are then keep six then in 6 months i will move the birds on that i have even though they will only be 18months by then,
hope your well anne see you soon.
