 Hi Everyone
i'm a newbie to this site and the smallholding world.
Myself and our family live in Echt, Aberdeenshire with a shetland pony and foal, various hens and a cockerel called Derek, 5 Khaki Campbells and 2 Runner ducks.

It would be great to hear from like minded individuals who are nearby. We would like to keep a couple of pigs for meat and are interested in being fairly self sufficient (eventually). Husband is in the process of building a smoker as his most recent project.

  Hi I'm in New Pitsligo and moved up here from sunny Sussex in February this year.  I have 60 sheep, Gotlands, Jacobs and Romneys, plus three Herdwicks.  I also have four mad but fun collies.  Would be great to make contact
