Hello from a wannabe
« on: August 20, 2015, 10:17:41 pm »
Hi - currently live in South London but wife and I have been looking for years to change our life; we want to buy land (~10 acres) of mixed woodland and open land, build up a mixed business of a woodland and crafts business (all outdoors) and small holding where the guests meet the animals as well. I don't want to go into too much detail about the business side of things until I straighten out the ideas in my head (don't want anyone nicking it!) but would need to live on site - initially in a removable home, eventually in an economically neutral home.

So... looking forward to picking up tips and suggestions - mainly towards being able to buy land and set up our business/home without the risk of getting kicked off again in 3 years or whatever!

Lots of us started out as wannabees. If you make sure that you have as many appropriate skills as possible before you start, it usually works out.
Good luck! :fc:
