Gibson's Fleece Won Black Isle
« on: August 07, 2015, 11:52:49 am »

Bragging a bit but really pleased as I lovingly removed every trace of VM from Gibson’s Fleece and entered it into the Coloured Shetland section in the Black Isle Show and it won the section and overall.

It wasn’t a very big fleece (maybe as we made him work as a ram lamb last autumn) but size isn’t everything – for those that are interested in these things – score 96, all Excellent ticks from 1-5, comment – worthy champion, good style, variations in colour.

I did the same as you last year and won first prize but then mine was the only fleece in the show  :(

Brilliant, well done  :trophy:

Well done Brucklay - you've got the bug  ;D

Rosemary, I hadn't realised about the BWMB trophy - I'll have to go rummaging amongst my Shetland fleeces.
