just rolled barley or oats in the bucket nothing else when you say large bucket roughly
how large? please i dont want to make this drag out just want to get it right as we are just new to
  keeping.

Rolled barley & flaked maize but oats would be fine too - i'm sure you pigs wont mind. Any size bucket is fine. We use a large wide bucket (probably twice the size of a standard bucket) & give it a good clean in between fills. I wouldnt get too hung up on it though - your pigs wont be fussy.
