Belson sinks? ? ?
« on: March 08, 2010, 06:49:53 am »
Taken some stick over this, this weekend. Simple error to make, belson - Belfast? ? quite similar?  For those of you who want to use a good heavy sink for watering your animals, I would recommend the BELFAST sink, as belson sinks are quite difficult o find? ?

Funny, I could not think what they were called as Belson (probably not so deep sinks after all) sounded correct!! They are very hard to get, I had one years ago in the garden and then had a re-conditioned one in my utility room, nice big deep sinks....Oh, I forgot, I have one now....**oody *ell!! it's too early for me. ;)

Sorry Sandy don't want to quarrel. But I think Belfast Sinks are crap.Best place for them is in the garden full of iums or the likes.Cattle troughs is good as well but no good in the kitchen. You only need to catch your lead crystal and you need some newones for your tipple. They are far to solid are Belfast Sinks. Why are they called SINKS?

Continuation sage. Why sage? Well the Head Gardener in Lady Yarborough's Garden is called Mr Hamilton and 2nd is Mr Zcartowski He has worked in the garden for over 30years and is extremely knowlegable about gardens Growing and flowers He is responsible for the flowers in the Hall every morning when he takes the garden produce for Cathy the cook. He also dresses the church for Harvest Festival, Easter and Christmas etc; Now sideways Can you remember a children's program on TV called the Herbs with Bay leaf the gardener and Sage was the all knowing one :D :D hence I christened Mr Zcartowski Sage and its stuck Even Lady Y asked me Have you seen Sage this morning ;D ;D :D.

The cat likes to sit in it for some reason. I often think it's to cool his bum or something. He doesn't drink the water or anything, he just sits in it. Weird cat.

We have a Belfast sink in the field for the pigs to drink out of.  We did have a bath, but had to go for a lower optin for the piggies.
