Excellent :)

Bet your on eggshells now - but still mega excited at the same time.

It took me a year after having the offer excepted to get the place we are in now so know how the long wait can really stress you out whilst also being excited.

Hope it all goes well.

Congratulations Rosemary :) Isnt it exciting?

Thank you all :)

I will certainly post a link to the place and keep you all informed about it and how it developes.
We cant move in straight away cos its in such a mess as it has been empty for a while and it is sooo damp fish could swim up the walls, but when done I plan on 7 or 8 bedrooms for us all.
Hubby, son and a few of our workers will camp out for a few weeks to get it just livable then we will move in and continue to develope it.

There are 4 generations going to be living there so thats bd for mum, bd for mums nurse (when the time comes) bd for daughter and hubby, bed for grandson, bed for son, bd for hubby and me, 2 guest bds (mother in law and brother in law)

Lol Annie Im a sucker for an animal in need. Hubby wants a rescue donkey too ( Im frightened of anything equine!)and the place already has 4 homeless cats that I will keep and neuter.

I'd love to have a donkey but I was told they are flea ridden things and stubborn, and they get lonely without company of their own kind - not unlike my dogs then ;) ;D ;D

Donkeys are great, never had one with fleas, great fun, although you need a companion for them, ideally a second donkey, but have known them teamed up with goats, sheep, and in one case a pig.

I bet you will find it difficult to sleep as its very exciting, you will be planning stuff all night! I kept going on about a rescue donkey, half jokeing and half seriouse, then I saw some pretend ones for nativity scenes and I would have loved to have popped one on my friends land, just as a joke, I can just see myself with a little donkey pulling a small trap!!!! The rescue chikens are fun, I love watching mine when its warmer, the pups have met them and seem to like them>

Jackie - get a notebook and empty your head before you go to bed otherwise you'll get no sleep! Works for me, anyway.
