Well done on finisshing your shed - it sounds ideal for the goats!!  Rick built the two Alpine goats an open fronted shelter, which they live in full time - even in winter.  Llama goes in too when its really bad weather.  Also bought a second hand goat shelter, which we can move around, but thats for the pygmy goats.

no goats yet. will wait for Tony to build the shed with me, MIL has said she has loads of spare wood too so thats good.
have my eye on a couple of pygmy/GG cross goats, one is a wether, the other a little girl. neither ready till may so that's fine.

never kept goats at all before so doing as much research as poss and making sure that I have back up if we have a holiday etc.  we currently have 11 chucks, 4 cats (1 preggie!) 3 rabbits (breeding lionliops) a breeding pair of guinea pigs (we have a friend with a petshop!) and we foster sheep from a rescue sanctuary from time to time so are expecting 30 of them soon.
| love the idea of having piggies to raise and then have for the table but am married to a vegetarian (!) so perhaps not just yet...

so thanks again  ;)
