Took our lamb to the vet, 2 months old, hep p'd and he diagnosed pneumonia. Vet Injected and we have her in the barn with mum and brother. Her head is thrown back and glazed look in eyes. Have syringed water into her. Is there anything else we can do except wait? Thoughts welcome. Fishy.

You could give her a little golden syrup in with the water, for a little energy. Hope she pulls through x

What did the vet inject?
Sounds like something neurological involved with head thrown back and glazed eyes, possibly thiamine deficiency (ccn) so if that was the case I would want to give b vitamins, which your vet may not have done if diagnosed with straightforward pneumonia earlier. It could also be a low blood sugar from stress and illness so things like flat Lucozade or syrup solutions would help there. I'd get the vet to have another look asap from the symptoms you describe.

Always taught alamycin for tootsies and respiratory?

Hi everyone,
Decided to give her honey and water with a little bit of salt... Home made electrolytes.... And will call the vet again in the morning. She is a little bit wheezy. No worse. No better....
