Hello from Dorset
« on: June 05, 2015, 10:29:11 am »
Hi all I'm Mike,
Just joined the site and I'm enjoying reading the various posts. I currently have 2 Saddleback x Tamworth gilts due for service that I kept from 6 weaners last year as they were of excellent confirmation and temperament. The other 4 went for meat and filled our chest freezer and supplied all the family with delicious pork! Finally realised my desire to keep pigs after many years with other livestock (bees, sheep, goats, horses, geese, ducks - not all at the same time!  :D ) and now a very happy swineherd!
