Name ideas for a kitten!
« on: June 03, 2015, 07:10:30 am »
We are soon to get a kitten after the death of my poor old childhood rabbit who lived to the ripe old age of 13.

We are ideally looking for a female name but would like to Incorporate our farming living if possible.

So far thought of Flax and Lupin. But open to any other suggestions.

Thanks :)

i would wait till the kitten arrives and it might give you an idea of a name itself

I pinched this from another site.  It wont help but made me chuckle!

I have always named my cats after fruits and vegetables. Olive, Fig, Peaches, Pansy, Pepper, Squash, Quincy, Cherry, Berry, etc
If you cant beat 'em then at least bugger 'em about a bit.

As others have said .. they usually choose their own name. Last adopted stray here was 'the powys puma' - puma for short - just black and stealthy

Best cat name ever brought into my surgery was 'velcro' - She was a clingy siamese

I've had Toffee, Ming, Chinky, Lydia (blind), Daisy, Sufi, Tufi, Polkinghorne, Guinevere, Spot (jet black), Basil, Pellinore, Blossom, Betelgeuse, Balthazar, Cloudsley Shovell, Wellington, Hamilton, Bramble (v spikey),  Mungo, Silvi, Vicky (Lady Victoria Colliery - don't ask), Charlie/ Fluffy/Charlotte, Milly, Bibble Bobble and Bubble the 3 ginger females, ......  I think I've had a lot of cats over the years, probably more than I've put here.

As for a name for yours - wait until you see her - you'll know because she'll tell you  :cat:
