The FIRST image that comes up is this one- which is apparently Hannah Ballingall on her horse!

However, the second image is the fifth one to appear, and is actually what my username relates to. Ballingall is my prefix for the goats, and it comes from a bridge at the end of the road where we used to live near Kinross. Ballingall bridge crosses the queich in the picture!

Hello all agen I haven't a picture but I will tell you a story why some call me Wizard I called on a pal who was in deep discussion with a chap who had a magnificently restored Ford Cortina Mk!! Lovely looking but he was crying the clutch had give up and They found the clutch slave cylinder had failed. We cannot get a replacement any where said Steve Lincs Motors say its so old they don't even have a repair kit to try.I don't think you pair of buggers have tried very hard have you? Course we have its not much use with no clutch is it.Have you tried over the road (100 yds away) Don't be daft they Austin Main Dealers Aye and Land Rover Standard Triumph because they took over Whites.Lets go see So over the road we go Is Bernard here BERNHARD and he comes and sees who it is and pretends to hide No you are alright Bernard I don't want any shims for a Series 11 box A nice simple job this morning.Have you a 3/4" Girling clutch slave cylinder rubber like say a Johnson Dumper or a Land Rover Bugger me It ent gone agen ez it.No but this lads Cortina has .So he wanders off and comes back with a box full of assorted Tek yer pick So I selected a pair and said how much He pushed a charity box at us and sez that much We went back across the road and Steve said its a bit awkward to get off I'll take it off for you John Take it off what the hell for Give me you Snap-on 18" pry bar I inserted it in the hole in the bell housing and forced the clutch to disengage.allowing me to remove the pushrod.Removing the bootI said John go and put a spoon full of brake fluid in the master cylinder then go and gently press the clutch pedal but not until I tell you.OK ready I undid the bleed screw .now real steady press when the oil came Stop I tightened the screw Let the pedal up gentle and when its up tell me Right its up Now ram the pedal at the floor as quick as you can he did and out shot the rubber and plunger. We washed inside and the plunger and lubricated the new rubber refitted them and the boot I disengaged the clutch again and refitted the pushrod then adjusted it after bleeding the system.Let it down Steve when it was down I said Start it up John and back it off.Of course there was much fear and trepidation that it caught and run away no it wont I said get the bloody thing moved I want to use the ramp So he did and was amazed. It worked like new.How did you Know a Land Rover bit would fit I didn't it was magic wont it?.Bloody great Wizard bloody great. So lots of chaps call me Wizard still. I haven't got a pointed hat nor do I look like Gandalf nor have I a picture ;D ;D ;D :farmer:
