I half agree with you Annie What I wanted to know has anyone seen and tried a fruit soup ?Fruit soup?Right should you care to open a packet of Knorr Golden Vegatable Cuppa Soup In the sachet you will see a creamy white powder and some dried vegetable chips/ pieces. to which you pour into a mug and add boiling water I add a spoon full and mix the packet contents to a paste then more water slowly stirring all the time So Cuppa Soup!.Now what I want to know is there a sachet with bits of dried fruits in say blueberry blackberry red currant use your imagination.I know and have tried fruit tea's but lets face it they are a little insipid no change that tasteless at best.Now do you understand the question? ??? :farmer:

 I prefer the word brawn, though, not souse  ;D Or head cheese, tee hee, that sounds terrible  :D I've not watched the Victorian kitchen with Ruth Mott in it, but I've watched the one with Ruth Goodman. I really like the wartime kitchen and garden though - lots of tips in that one.

What about just trying an infusion with dried packet fruit - like goji or cranberries?

It isn't what I am looking for Annie.It turns out more like soggy fruit and coloured water but I will continue to experiment. :farmer:
