11 Huskeys!!! - i have one and i can just about cope with him, he's calming down a lot now, no more disappearing acts (well not often) but he still 'talks' to me and tells me off if i'm a bit slow taking him out, or when i've been out wiithout him

Wow!!! just love all these photos....I read a book about a distant cousin who lived witht he Inuit and had Huskeys, he wrote that you could leave them with your children but they can fight to the death for leadership, he bought a new lead dog on it killed 30 dog's one after another so he had to get rid of it!!! Love them though, I could harness my 4 Labs to a truck and they can pull me through the forest!! That whippet is very pretty and nearly down that hole!!!

i wouldnt recommend letting them off lead as they like to disappear into the distance (a natural trait of the bread i am afraid) loads of info and chat on

hi sandy
those dogs were probably eskimo dogs they are much more feisty than sibes who have to get on well with each other as traditionally they work in very large teams

Jez mine goes after the foxes as well.Collie type Lurchers are the best all round dog to have on a smallholding in my opinion.
Guard the your land, stock and car, work all day and are very well behaved.
